Attraction Warning

DarkSyde Acres is an intense haunted attraction presented in a physically demanding environment. Guests may experience intense audio, low visibility, darkness, heavy fog, strobe and flashing lights, wet or uneven conditions, moving floors, confined spaces, sudden loud sounds, special effects, and close interactions with scare actors.

Guests should carefully consider whether these effects are appropriate for them before purchasing a ticket or entering an attraction.

Health, Mobility & Safety Considerations

The attraction effects described above may affect guests with asthma, respiratory conditions, heart conditions, seizure disorders, photosensitivity, balance or mobility limitations, vision concerns, pregnancy, claustrophobia, anxiety, or other medical or health concerns.

Guests with questions about attraction conditions, physical access, or reasonable accommodations should contact DarkSyde Acres before visiting. Guests are responsible for considering their individual circumstances and, when appropriate, consulting a qualified medical professional.

For the safety of guests, staff, and performers, DarkSyde Acres may delay or refuse entry when a guest’s conduct, level of intoxication, inability to follow safety instructions, or a specific observed safety concern creates a direct risk that cannot be reasonably addressed.

Guest Conduct & Attraction Rules

Guests must follow all posted rules and instructions given by DarkSyde Acres staff, security personnel, and attraction operators.

• Do not enter an attraction while intoxicated or under the influence of illegal drugs.
• No smoking or vaping inside the attractions.
• No food or drinks inside the attractions.
• No running or jumping inside the attractions.
• Do not touch actors, other guests, props, sets, or special-effects equipment.
• Guest photography, video recording, and audio recording are prohibited inside the haunted attractions.
• Do not intentionally damage or interfere with DarkSyde Acres property, equipment, performers, or operations.
• Follow all staff instructions, emergency directions, and posted safety notices.

Guests who violate these rules, threaten safety, disrupt operations, harass others, or damage property may be removed without a refund and may be refused future admission.

Admission & Tickets

Admission to DarkSyde Acres is a revocable license. DarkSyde Acres reserves the right to refuse or revoke admission for legitimate safety, conduct, capacity, security, operational, or rule-enforcement reasons, consistent with applicable law.

All ticket sales are final and nonrefundable. DarkSyde Acres may, at its sole discretion, make an exception in unusual circumstances. Any exception does not establish an ongoing policy or obligation to issue future refunds.

Assumption of Inherent Risks

Haunted attractions involve darkness, startle effects, loud sounds, low visibility, uneven or moving surfaces, interactions with performers, and other inherent risks. By entering, guests acknowledge these disclosed conditions and voluntarily choose to participate.

Guests remain responsible for following attraction rules, posted warnings, and staff instructions. Nothing in these policies is intended to waive or limit any right or responsibility that cannot legally be waived or limited under applicable law.

Event Photography & Recording

DarkSyde Acres may photograph or record guests on the property and inside the attractions. By attending, guests acknowledge that their image, voice, or likeness may appear in future DarkSyde Acres advertising and promotional materials.

Guest photography, video recording, and audio recording are prohibited inside the haunted attractions. Guests may take personal photographs in permitted outdoor or public areas unless otherwise directed by staff or posted signage.

Personal Property & Vehicles

Guests are responsible for securing their personal belongings. DarkSyde Acres is not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged personal items or for damage to vehicles except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

Please supervise children and other members of your group while on the property and be considerate of other guests, staff, and nearby families.
