The Catacombs

Darkness washes over you as you take your first fateful step through the doorway. Your body tenses and your senses heighten. Faint, ghostly whispers echo in the distance, barely audible over the noises coming from the halls ahead. Shuffling… creaking… and is that groaning? The stomach turning stench of decay fills the air, making it clear that it is far too late to turn back. You freeze as a shadow moves quickly toward you. You try to scream, but screaming will not help you in here.

Buried deep beneath the warehouses of DarkSyde Acres lies a frightening labyrinth of dark, twisting passages. This maze plays host to a legion of toxic, undead creatures unlike any zombies you have read about in storybooks. Led by the sinister skeletal zombie leader known as Richter Mortis, these undead monsters leave visitors completely unprepared for their traps. Bred to be fast, strong, and indestructible against human force, these creatures were savagely engineered in a testing facility once housed within these damp, crumbling walls. The horrors of The Catacombs leave many terrifying questions unanswered. Who is Richter Mortis? Who were these test subjects? What was the true purpose of the experiment that twisted innocent people into monsters hungry for human flesh? Seek the answers if you dare—only the strongest live to tell the tale.

“The first haunt was amazing!!! Haven’t screamed that much in years!!!” — Shelly Amburgey

The Rusthole

Hidden deep within the steel confines of DarkSyde Acres, the mad scientists at Rusthole Industries have perfected a formula to create bizarre test-tube monsters straight out of your wildest nightmares. The booming sound of toxic smokestacks and grinding machinery echoes through the facility, attempting to conceal the strange screeches and screams of genetically re-engineered creatures lurking within. Enter the crumbling warehouses if you dare; your very sanity and curiosity will be your end. As you stumble through this industrial factory of terror, your psyche will face a relentless assault from tortured, subhuman souls. Captured, cloned, and reanimated, everything from Rusthole’s alien beings to larger-than-life, bloodthirsty spider hybrids wait to catch you alone in the darkness. If you are not careful, you could find yourself hooked up to the whirring machines of genetic torture, doomed to become the next grotesque experiment.

The era of the simple black maze has come to an end. Rusthole Industries has been completely reinvented as an industrial horror experience engineered to exploit your deepest, darkest fears in a single haunt. If you manage to escape the creatures within, you will never be the same and before long, you might be begging to join them.

⚠️ Warning! Extreme violence and graphic situations.

“This is a must see to believe. Just do it!!” — Scott Yoast

Klownetowne

Many years ago, long before the creation of DarkSyde Acres, a strange circus came to the little town of Jonesville, Michigan for some unusual Halloween fun. Very early the next foggy November morning, the carnies packed up their curiously blood-stained tents and rusty stakes, disappearing as quickly as they had arrived. A decade later, the city of Jonesville began experiencing an alarming influx of missing persons cases. Little did the residents know that during the macabre circus’s long-forgotten trip, they had left someone, or perhaps something behind.

As citizens continued to vanish, leaving the town grappling with an unsolvable mystery, a dark force grew within the winding hallways of the DarkSyde Acres Haunted House. Entering the domain of this deranged misfit crew is guaranteed to both tickle your funny bone and prey on your worst phobias. This ever-growing, haunted circus always has room for one more.

For example, the heavy stench of saltwater, mildew, and decay fills the air as you enter a zany nautical fantasy realm that will leave you begging to walk the plank. Furthermore, the zombie crew of the Dark Abyss is perpetually hungry for stowaway stew, a relentless hunger that even the galley cook cannot satisfy.

As you enter, you can hear the rowdy crew’s loud banter echoing in the distance. Led by the forever-cursed ghost of Captain Carcass and his bloodthirsty bride, Bloody Mary, this unruly bunch of undead pirates is on a mission to make sure you go down with the ship. Consequently, a ragtag crew of undead deckhands, terrifying sea monsters, and underappreciated washroom wenches are ready to keep your adrenaline racing as you prepare for your final escape from one of the premier Halloween attractions in Michigan.
