How long does it take to experience DarkSyde Acres?

The amount of time you’ll spend at DarkSyde Acres depends on attendance levels and how quickly your group moves through each attraction. Most guests should plan on spending 45-90 minutes enjoying the complete experience. It is very hard to actual give a time.

Will I be scared?

We certainly hope so! DarkSyde Acres is designed to deliver an immersive haunted attraction experience featuring detailed sets, professional actors, realistic special effects, darkness, sound, and suspense. Every guest reacts differently, but our goal is always to entertain while delivering an unforgettable experience.

Are the attractions appropriate for children?

DarkSyde Acres is designed primarily for teens and adults. Parents are always welcome to bring younger children, but only you know what your child can comfortably handle. Our attractions contain intense themes, darkness, loud sounds, fog effects, and frightening situations that may not be suitable for everyone.

Will the actors touch me?

No. Our actors are instructed not to touch guests.

Can I touch the actors?

No. For everyone’s safety, guests may not touch, push, grab, strike, or intentionally interfere with our actors, props, or sets. Anyone violating these rules may be removed from the property without a refund.

Are fog machines and special effects used?

Yes. Our attractions utilize theatrical effects including darkness, loud sounds, lighting effects, fog, uneven surfaces, and other special effects to create an immersive experience.

Are there any health or safety restrictions?

Can I take photos or videos inside the attractions?

No. Photography and video recording inside the attractions are not permitted. Flash photography, lighting, and stopping inside the attractions can interfere with actors, reduce other guests’ experience, and create safety concerns.

Can I smoke or vape inside the attractions?

No. Smoking, vaping, eating, and drinking are not permitted inside any attraction.

Are refunds available?

No. All ticket sales are final. Please review all attraction warnings and ticket information before making your purchase.

What should I wear?

We recommend comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Because portions of the attraction include uneven terrain, darkness, and outdoor walking, appropriate footwear is strongly recommended.
